Picnic and Mental Traps is our new favorite activity! We absolutely love that we can take this entire thoughtful series outside with us. These games are perfectly compact for outdoor fun, but big on learning. Seeing my son so absorbed in analyzing facts and logic in the fresh air makes my heart happy. This is hands-down the best educational investment we've made in years.
The absolute purest excitement! My girls were thrilled to get their hands on this game. They immediately took it into their playhouse. It’s amazing to see them so genuinely enthusiastic about something that helps them think critically.

Ladies, this is the best antidote to TikTok and short videos! It's usually hard to get my 9-year-old daughter interested in anything, but WAIT, WHAT?! moves so crazy fast that she completely forgets about her phone. You have to react instantly, look for the catch, and ignore the trick words. The game trains the brain to think deeply, not just skim the surface. Now she's the one asking: "Mom, one more round, I want to be the first to collect 15 cards!"
I bought it for my first grader, who couldn't sit through homework for more than 5 minutes without getting distracted by everything. We've been playing almost every day for two weeks. This game is pure brain explosion! 😂 We play as a whole family (my son is 7, my husband and I are both 35). Who would've thought the adults would mess up more than the kid! Your brain literally short-circuits when you see the word "green" printed in red and have to quickly make the animal's sound. We laughed until we cried. And best of all, my son concentrates so much better in class now. I've noticed he's more attentive and doesn't rush when reading math problems.

My son has ADHD. Getting him to focus on one game for more than 3 minutes is usually torture for both of us. But this game is some kind of neuropsychology magic. Because the tasks keep changing and the rules don't let you relax for a second, his brain switches on completely! He plays with real excitement, doesn't get distracted, and most importantly, he's learning to PAUSE first and react second. I'm seeing huge progress in his ability to sit still. I'll say it modestly: this is our best purchase of the whole year.

The game is excellent for training inhibitory control and a child's ability to hit the "stop" button before reacting impulsively. 195 cards and 9 categories is a huge amount of practice material. I recommend it to parents whose kids struggle to stay focused.
